Throughout the year, the Chopta trek is well-known for its scenic beauty. It winds through lovely forests and offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. The trek allows visitors to visit the 1000-year-old Tungnath temple, the highest Lord Shiva shrine in the world. It is said to have been made by Arjuna. This trek presents a moderate level of difficulty. The trail winds through forests and vast meadows, with breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayas. From the summit, you can see Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, Nanda Devi, and Trishul peaks in the distance. This location is also popular with skiers, who refer to it in the winter as "Mini Switzerland." Chopta Chandrashila is a beautiful vantage point.
