Step 1: Join the upper and lower threads
When the top and lower threads have been separated, it is time to connect them and begin learning how to utilize a sewing machine.
Turn the machine’s flywheel (the huge circular wheel on the right) towards you. In your manual, it may also be referred to as a hand wheel. This allows the top threaded needle to go to the bobbin region.
Watch how effortlessly the higher thread wraps around, the lower thread and pulls it up to the machine’s upper level. Always remember to turn the wheel in your direction until you see the bottom thread emerge. Pull the bottom thread out and then hold the threads together towards the machine’s rear.
