In the end there are plenty of great routes to take, but herb running is a really great money method when perfected all the way to the last gold piece RuneScape Gold. It is extremely profitable if kept on schedule, while also providing decent (but far from the top) amount of farming knowledge while doing it.
Herb runs make the potential to earn between 2-4m per hour. However, it has the disadvantage that you are able to only do 6 minutes of it each two hours, or so. The purpose of The purpose of the Herb run is to travel as fast as you can through all the Herb patches that are available to you, harvest herbs to market for cash and then plant the seeds for later harvest. With the best equipment, and using all five patches, it is possible to finish the run in just under 6 minutes, with the timer starting after you have teleported to Trollheim and finishing after all patches are harvested and planted, and all equipment stored.
The Ardougne Cloak 4 could be replaced with either Ardougne Cloak 2 or 3 The Cloaks will only utilize the Farm patch teleport once each day. Otherwise, you could use Teleport to North Ardougne (must unlock at Livid Farm) but that will take you a considerable distance away from the farming patches.
