Hostel In Jaisalmer : The Patwa Ki Haveli, an excellent example of exquisite building that unwraps the passage of a wealthy trader, Guman Chand Patwa of the 19th century, is one of Jaisalmer's must-see attractions. It is one of Rajasthan's largest Havelis, with magnificent wall paintings, lovely jharokhas (balconies), archways, and entrances. Guman Chand Patwa gifted his sons the Patwon ki Haveli, a collection of five spectacular havelis. The 'Patwas' abandoned the Havelis to the mercy of caretakers, who eventually became the proprietors, according to history. Mr. Jeevan Lal Ji Kothari then bought the first haveli... Patwa ki Haveli was renamed the Kothari Patwa Haveli after that.
