Do you remember when it was best to apply a lot cold cream to your skin, then wipe it off with some tissues? We know that heavy synthetic creams can be harmful to healthy skin. Healthy and effective skin care habits are key to getting the most out of your routine. These are some of my favorite tips that have helped me get my best skincare routine.
1. Cleanse your face properly
It is evident that healthy skin is clean skin. Many people make the mistake of over-cleansing. Your skin should only be cleaned once per day, and at least one time before you go to sleep at night.
Avoid harsh facial cleanser and bar soaps to remove dirt and grime. These products can dry out your skin and cause it to become dry and irritated.
Use gentle cleanser that contain high levels of natural active ingredients. Kaolin and Bentonite gel are gentle, but powerful natural ingredients that can remove dirt from your skin and make it soft and smooth.
Use warm water to rinse. Do not believe the old wisdom about hot or cold water being better for your pores. Warm water is best.
2. Once a week, add exfoliation
Exfoliation is an essential part of a good solar skin care Creame. Exfoliation removes dead cells and toxic substances. A weekly cleanse can be very beneficial to your skin. It was something I did.
To ensure safe and effective exfoliation, avoid scrubs made with large grains. These products can cause minor skin rips and tears. Personally, I have found great scrubs with small, effective grains.
3. To moisturize, use plant-based oils and emollients
Clinical studies have shown that plant-based oils and emollients can hydrate, nourish and support healthy cell function. This is in contrast to heavy cold creams which can clog pores, and stop the natural expulsion toxins.
My personal favorite moisturizer is one that contains high levels of avocado oil and macadamia nuts oil. These oils are so rich, that even a tiny amount can give you a luxurious feeling.
It's not a secret. Although heavy cold cream may be passé, beautiful and healthy skin will not go out of style. You can easily maintain beautiful skin with a good skincare routine that includes regular practice and natural products.
